A 30-minute full-body exfoliation with Éminence's all-natural Coconut Sugar Scrub. Standalone, or as an enhancement to a massage or facial. The kind of treatment you walk out of feeling like a new person.
Book a Body Scrub What's In It"This luxurious full-body exfoliation uses Éminence's all-natural Coconut Sugar Scrub to gently buff away dead skin cells, leaving your skin silky smooth and deeply hydrated. The organic coconut oil nourishes and softens, while raw sugar polishes and revitalizes. The treatment begins with a warm application of the scrub, followed by soothing circular massage strokes to improve circulation. After a refreshing shower, your skin is left glowing, smooth, and delicately scented with tropical coconut. Perfect as a standalone refresh or added after a massage or before a facial."
Body scrubs sound simple — sugar plus oil, rubbed onto skin. The difference between a forgettable scrub and a transformative one is in the ingredients, the technique, and the integration with the rest of the visit.
We use Éminence's organic Coconut Sugar Scrub — the same biodynamic brand we partner with for all our facial work. Raw sugar provides the gentle mechanical exfoliation; organic coconut oil delivers hydration and softness; tropical coconut scent leaves you faintly fragrant for hours. No synthetic fragrances, no harsh exfoliants, no plastic microbeads (banned in cosmetics for good reason).
Your therapist begins by warming the scrub before application — cold sugar on warm skin is uncomfortable; warm scrub feels like a coastal moment. The scrub is applied in sections (legs first, then arms, back, torso) and worked in with slow, soothing circular massage strokes that double as gentle lymphatic stimulation. The combination of exfoliation, massage, and oil absorption is what produces the visible glow.
After the scrub work is complete, you'll move to our shower to rinse. The sugar dissolves easily; the coconut oil leaves a light, nourishing film on the skin that doesn't need to be washed off aggressively. This is the moment most clients say feels best — warm water on freshly exfoliated, oil-conditioned skin.
Immediately: skin is dramatically smoother to the touch. For 2–3 days afterward: lotion absorbs deeper and faster; everything feels softer; the faint coconut scent lingers; clothing slides on differently. For 5–7 days: the smoothness gradually settles back, but the skin holds moisturizer better than it did before the scrub.
We rotate our scrub menu through the year — coconut sugar is our current default, but seasonal variations may appear as the calendar shifts. The structure and benefits are consistent; the scent profile evolves with the seasons.
The body scrub is one of our most flexible services because it works equally well on its own or layered into a longer visit.
30 minutes of focused full-body exfoliation. Perfect as a quick mid-week refresh, a beach-trip prep, a "between-massages" maintenance visit, or a "I just need to feel like a person again" decompression.
The most-popular pairing. Get a 60- or 90-minute therapeutic massage first, then a body scrub afterward. The scrub removes the massage oil, the post-scrub shower leaves you completely fresh, and you walk out the door feeling like you just had a half-day at a destination spa. Add 30 minutes to your massage booking and ask for the scrub to follow.
Less common but excellent for a "full-day reset" visit. Body scrub first, then move to a facial — which facial to choose is a separate question, but Personalized Éminence and Glow and Sculpt both pair beautifully here.
3–5 days before the wedding, book a body scrub. Your skin will be at its smoothest for the dress fitting, the dress itself, and the honeymoon afterward. Pair with lash and brow services in the same visit and you've handled most of your bridal prep in a single appointment.
Particularly in winter, on the upper arms (keratosis pilaris — the "chicken skin" bumps), and on the backs of legs. The mechanical exfoliation immediately smooths these areas; the oil layer keeps them soft for days.
Specifically for trips to the beach. You want skin at its smoothest and most photo-ready — a body scrub 5–7 days before departure is the answer.
For the bride or groom (the scrub itself is gender-neutral). For the bridesmaids or groomsmen. For the wedding-week relaxation. For the honeymoon prep. Multiple use cases in one event.
If you book a massage monthly and want to mix things up without committing to a different therapist or modality, pair your regular massage with a scrub for one visit. Most regulars say it changes how they feel walking out the door.
"Spa day" gifts are abstract; "body scrub + massage" gifts are specific and aspirational. Gift card details here.
The combination of mechanical stimulation, warm oil, soothing massage strokes, and a hot shower has a meaningfully restorative effect on the nervous system. Many guests describe leaving feeling not just smoother, but lighter.
We're by appointment only, so plan to arrive 5 minutes early. We'll send you a text when it's time to come inside. You'll be greeted with your choice of soothing tea or cold water and walked to a private treatment room.
You'll undress to your comfort level (most clients prefer underwear off, but bottoms-on is welcome). Your therapist steps out while you change. Full draping is in place throughout — the area being worked on is exposed; everything else stays covered.
About 20 minutes of warmed scrub application + soothing massage strokes across your back, arms, legs, and (with consent) torso. The pressure is gentle — this isn't deep tissue work, it's exfoliation with care.
You'll move to our shower (robe and slippers provided for the transit) and rinse for as long as you'd like — usually 5–10 minutes. We provide towels and a clean robe for after.
Skin smoother than you remembered it being possible. Faint tropical coconut scent. A noticeable nervous-system reset. Most clients move slower for the rest of the day.
It mechanically exfoliates the entire body — sloughing off dead skin cells from your back, shoulders, arms, legs, and torso using fine raw sugar suspended in nourishing oils. The exfoliation is followed by soothing massage strokes, then a warm shower. The result is skin that's noticeably smoother and softer, and that holds moisturizer and lotion dramatically better for days afterward.
No — the sugar granules in Éminence's Coconut Sugar Scrub are fine and naturally dissolve as they're worked into the skin. The oils make the texture creamy rather than gritty. It's gentler than most salt-based scrubs and far gentler than mechanical body brushing.
No. We provide robes, towels, and everything you'll need for the post-scrub shower. Just come clothed — you'll change in a private treatment room, and you'll have full draping throughout the service.
Avoid shaving or waxing the same day — freshly exfoliated skin is more sensitive to the sugar. Two to three days before is ideal if you want smooth, hair-free skin going into your scrub appointment.
After is typically better. A massage often uses oil that you'd then want to rinse off; doing the scrub afterward removes the oil residue while adding its own nourishing layer. Then the post-scrub shower leaves you feeling completely refreshed at the end of the visit.
Yes — sugar scrubs are generally pregnancy-safe. We use side-lying positioning instead of lying flat on the stomach if you're in your second or third trimester, and we'll skip any areas you're sensitive about. Tell us when you book.
Once a month is the most common cadence for regulars. For acute needs (pre-vacation, pre-wedding, between seasons), one-off bookings work well. There's no compounding "series" benefit the way there is with facials — each scrub is a standalone reset.
Tell us when you book — we may have alternative scrubs available depending on the season, or we may recommend skipping the service. Coconut allergies are rare but real, and we won't risk a reaction.
