Lash lifts, brow lamination, and tinting at Amber & Sage. Semi-permanent treatments that mean less makeup, more time, and a face that looks finished from the moment you wake up — for weeks.
Book Lash & Brow See the MenuThe truth about lash and brow services is that almost nobody books them because they want one thing — they book them because they want to stop doing something. Stop curling lashes every morning. Stop filling in brows with five different products. Stop reaching for mascara when running out the door.
That's what these treatments do. A lash lift curls your natural lashes for 6–8 weeks. Brow lamination smooths and sets your brow hairs into a defined, fluffy shape for 4–6 weeks. Tinting adds color that lasts as long as the structural treatments. Stack them together and you've effectively swapped 5–10 minutes of morning makeup for a single 90-minute appointment every couple of months.
For brides, that's why these services are some of our most-booked in the weeks leading up to a wedding. For everyone else, it's why they become a habit.
"I got the Éminence Enzyme facial, brow lamination, lash lift and brow and lash tint — I can go makeup free for weeks!" That's a real client review of stacking the full lash-and-brow combo with a facial. The compounding effect is meaningful.
Your natural eyelashes grow at slightly varying angles — some up, some forward, some downward. A lash lift uses a gentle chemical solution to soften the lashes' protein bonds, then a silicone shield curls them upward in one direction. The bonds re-set in the new curled shape over 6–8 weeks as your lashes naturally shed and regrow.
The result: your eyes look more open, your lashes look longer (because they're now visible at full length rather than pointing forward), and you get the "I curled them" effect without doing it daily. Most clients find they need less mascara, and many skip it entirely while the lift is fresh.
Brow lamination uses a similar chemistry to a lash lift but applied to your brow hairs. The hairs are softened, brushed upward into a uniform direction, and then set in that lifted position. The "fluffy brow" look you've seen on Instagram for the last few years — that's brow lamination.
It's transformative for thin or sparse brows because it makes existing hairs look more abundant by spreading them across the brow shape. For unruly brows that go in 50 directions, it tames them into one. For downward-pointing brows that age the face, it creates immediate lift.
Tinting is a semi-permanent dye applied to lashes or brows. Different from hair dye in that it's specifically formulated for the eye area and uses much milder developer. The color stains the hairs (and lightly stains the skin underneath for brows), creating immediate visible darkness and definition. The hair color fades gradually over weeks as the hairs shed and regrow; the skin staining on brows fades within a couple of weeks.
Lash lift + brow lamination address structure (curl, direction, shape). Tinting adds color. Together they produce the "did you have something done?" look that lasts weeks. Stack with a facial in the same visit and you've done the equivalent of a pre-event prep package in 90 minutes.
Weddings (both brides and guests), graduations, reunions, photoshoots, big work events. The combination of lash lift + brow lamination + tinting before an event means you look done in every photo — including the candid ones.
If your morning routine takes 20 minutes and you'd love it to take 3, these are the treatments that move the needle. You'll still want a tinted moisturizer and SPF, but the eye-area work is done.
Naturally blonde, gray, or otherwise light lash and brow hair becomes much more visible with tinting alone. Adding lift and lamination amplifies the effect.
Beach trips are the perfect use case. You don't want to worry about mascara running in the ocean or brows smudging in humidity. Lash lifted and laminated brows wake up looking ready every morning of the trip.
Some people have lashes that just point forward instead of curling up. A lash lift visibly changes the entire shape of the eye area for them — one of the most dramatic before/afters we do.
Brow hair thins with age. Lamination spreads existing hairs to cover more of the brow shape, and tinting darkens them for definition. Both together are an alternative to microblading for clients who want the look without the long-term commitment.
No swimming, no steam, no crying jags. The chemistry needs to fully set. After 24 hours, normal showering and washing is fine.
For the duration of your lift or lamination, oil-based products break down the chemical bonds and shorten how long results last. Switch to a water-based cleanser; your esthetician will recommend specifics.
Once the lift is set, you can mascara normally. Most clients find they need much less. Some skip it entirely.
Some people are sensitive to tint chemistry. If it's your first time, we may do a small patch test 24–48 hours before your appointment, especially if you have sensitivities to other dyes.
Lashes pressed against a pillow for 8 hours can lose some of their curl. One night of back-sleeping makes a real difference in how long your results stay crisp.
2–3 weeks before the wedding is the sweet spot for lash lift and brow lamination. Long enough for any settling, close enough that results are at their peak. Tinting is best 5–7 days before the event.
Typically 6–8 weeks. Your natural lashes shed and regrow on that cycle, so the lift gradually grows out rather than fading. Many clients re-book at the 6-week mark to stay continuously lifted.
Done correctly, no. The lifting solution chemically reshapes the lashes' protein bonds — similar to how a chemical hair perm works, but milder and shorter contact. We use professional solutions and standard processing times. The risk of damage comes almost entirely from overprocessing (leaving solution on too long), which is why technique matters.
Lash lifts curl and lift your own natural lashes. Extensions add synthetic or natural-fiber lashes glued to your own. Lifts are lower maintenance (no infills, no special cleansers), last 6–8 weeks, and let you wear mascara normally. Extensions look more dramatic but require regular infills every 2–3 weeks and careful aftercare.
Usually 4–6 weeks. The brow hairs gradually return to their natural direction as they grow. Many clients combine brow lamination with brow tinting for a more complete and longer-visible result.
Yes — wait 24–48 hours after the lift, then mascara as normal. Many clients find they actually use less mascara because the natural curl is already there.
No — they're very different. Microblading is a semi-permanent tattoo that creates the appearance of hair strokes in sparse brow areas (lasts 1–3 years). Brow lamination is a chemical treatment that smooths and lifts your existing brow hairs into a fluffy, defined shape (lasts 4–6 weeks). Lamination is much lower commitment and works best when you have brow hair to work with.
Most providers recommend avoiding the chemical solutions used in lash lifts and brow lamination during pregnancy, particularly in the first trimester, out of an abundance of caution. Lash and brow tinting is generally fine but we'll talk through your specific situation. Always mention pregnancy when you book.
Yes — this is one of our most-booked combinations. Book a facial followed by lash & brow services in the same visit. Your esthetician will sequence the timing so nothing interferes (lash chemistry first, facial work second is the typical order). Not sure which facial to pair?
Lash lifts: every 6–8 weeks. Brow lamination: every 4–6 weeks. Tinting: every 3–6 weeks. Many regulars book a recurring combo every 5–6 weeks to stay continuously polished without thinking about it.
No. The lift grows out naturally as your lashes shed (the cycle is 6–8 weeks anyway). You won't be left with damaged or weird-looking lashes — just your natural ones, the same as before. Same with brow lamination.
