Immersive group and private sound baths in our North Chattanooga studio. Crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes — the most accessible meditative experience there is.
See Upcoming Sessions Follow for DatesYou arrive at our studio, get settled on a mat with bolsters, blankets, and an eye pillow. Lights dim. Your sound practitioner welcomes you with a few words, sometimes a short reiki intention or a brief breath practice. Then the bowls begin.
Crystal singing bowls produce long, sustained tones tuned to specific frequencies. As the practitioner moves through the bowls, the overlapping vibrations create an acoustic environment that's almost impossible to think through — in the best way. Your nervous system downshifts. Most guests describe it as a kind of waking sleep, with occasional vivid imagery or surprising emotional release. A gong or two punctuate the session. You'll re-emerge slowly, gently, and usually a little disoriented in the best way possible.
Honestly, all kinds of people. Some are deep into meditation practice and find that sound bypasses the mental chatter they fight elsewhere. Some are skeptics dragged by a friend who become regulars by the end. Some are dealing with grief, postpartum overwhelm, burnout, or insomnia and find that 60 minutes here resets something that 20 hours of sleep can't.
Our group sound baths are held in our studio on a rotating monthly basis — new moon and seasonal events are favorites. Check our events section for the next scheduled session, or follow us on Instagram for announcements.
If group settings aren't your thing, we offer private sound therapy sessions in a treatment room. You can also pair a sound session with reiki for a deeper nervous-system experience, or end an Eminence facial or massage with a brief sound finisher. Inquire when you book or text us for custom pairings.
Some guests feel the bowls in their chest, hands, or hips — literally a sensation of vibration. Others mostly feel an emotional softening. A few drift off entirely. There's no "right" way to experience a sound bath. We provide tissues for the emotional, blankets for the cold, and water for the dry-mouthed.
The most popular combination. Reiki opens the energetic field; sound deepens it. A common 75-minute private session.
Long-held yin postures with sound layered in. We schedule these as special group events — check the events section.
Available as a custom add-on after deep tissue, when the nervous system needs help integrating.
A seasonal favorite. We post the next date on our homepage promo banner.
A sound bath is a guided session in which you lie comfortably while a practitioner plays crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and tuning forks. The overlapping tones produce a deeply meditative state — many guests describe a kind of waking sleep.
No. Sound baths are one of the easiest entry points to meditative states because the sound does most of the work — you don't have to manage your attention. First-time guests are welcome and common.
Wear soft, warm layers. We provide mats, bolsters, blankets, and eye pillows, but you're welcome to bring your own if it helps you settle. Avoid heavy meals an hour beforehand.
Most group sound baths run 60 minutes, with a few minutes of arrival/settling and a few minutes of gentle re-emergence at the end. Private sessions can be customized for length.
Generally yes, though we recommend talking with your provider first. The volume is moderate and non-startling, and we offer side-lying positioning with extra cushions for comfort.
All normal. Sound work can move stuck emotion, and many guests doze off. We hold space without judgment — you're free to experience whatever surfaces.
